In the Port Orford News of August 31, Troy Russell of ERPD writes a response to a recent exchange of letters begun by a local business owner regarding the effluent pipeline. Notable in the letter is the news that applications have already begun, both with the City of Port Orford and Curry County. Did even the City Councilors know of this? 100 Friends asked officials at both City and County just prior to publication of the letter, and we were told that no application had been made.
